THE POWER OF CHOICE.

Randy understand there are different dynamics for different grade levels. Randy tailors his presentations to his audience whether they are in 9th grade of 12th grades, or a grade level in between. He can address all grade levels at the same time, but his preference is to speak to individual grades for maximum impact and benefit to the students. All his programs focus on choices, whether it’s a substance abuse presentation or a leadership development program.

STUDENT PROGRAMS

JUST SAY KNOW

Not all alcohol and other drug awareness (AOD) programs are the same. Randy uses humor and real life experiences to educate students on the dangers and AOD use and abuse. He addresses the dangers of experimentation, peer pressure, gateway drugs and progression. He is a master storyteller and weaves the story in a way that captures the audience. He doesn’t teach students to “just say no”, he teaches them HOW to say no.

LIVING YOUR TRUTH

This leadership development program is designed to help students understand themselves better and encourages them to make choices in their lives based on their value system. Randy helps them discover what they key and core values are, and then how to make their decisions from that value system.

OUT OF THE DARKNESS

On May 16, 1984, Randy sat on the edge of his bed with a knife in his hand contemplating which wrist to slice open first. He knows firsthand what the darkness feels like and how quickly it can overwhelm someone. What stopped him? He looked in the mirror, made eye contact, and didn’t recognize who looked back. He said to himself, “What the heck am I doing?!” It was then that the desperation turned into fear. His next though, “I need help!” left him feeling scared and alone.

Randy did get help. He talked to a complete stranger on the other end of a suicide hotline and to this day he credits her with saving his life. He fought his way back from self-doubt, low self-esteem, and feeling like a failure. It was hard, but not impossible. He worked his way from 2 college expulsions to completing his Master’s Degree and todays is helping people realize their own worth. As an Amazon best-selling author, award winning speaker, and accomplished life coach, Randy helps other realize their self-worth and helps them learn the necessary skills to overcome life’s obstacles. Today randy talks to teens, parents and staff about self-esteem, suicide prevention, and alcohol and other drug abuse. His talks are real and down to earth. Over a third of his presentations are to repeat audiences.

PARENT PROGRAMS

Randy’s #1 requested program for parents is “How to Raise a Drug Free Child”. This presentation can be for the parents of high school, middle school, or lower school students. The objective of this presentation is to give parents the skills they need to empower their children to make better choices and avoid the pitfalls of substance use and abuse. He discusses how to talk to your child about alcohol and other drugs as well as current trends in our society, and how to talk to your child if you suspect alcohol and/or other drugs.

HOW TO RAISE A DRUG FREE CHILD

Is there a way to guarantee that your child will not become addicted to alcohol or other drugs? Of course not. Just like we can’t prevent someone from getting cancer. But there are preventative measures you can take and that’s what this program is all about. Learn from an expert on addiction on how to talk to your children and how to identify if a problem might be building.
